SWCA's Pasadena Natural Resources Program is actively seeking an entry-level biologist/wetlands scientist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Pasadena, California. This is an On-Call, hourly position, and pay will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
In this role you will be expected to review projects for potential water/wetlands features within a client database system. You would assess whether project impacts would affect jurisdictional water/wetlands and develop protective measures for water features to be used by construction crews. Technical experience including jurisdictional delineation or permit application experience for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), is preferred, but not required. As an integral member of SWCA’s Natural Resources Group, you will collaborate and work among peers in a primarily office-based environment, but there may be some opportunities for field work throughout southern California.
Our Pasadena office offers a unique work environment and specializes in Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Permitting.
