    Our Houston, TX office has an exciting opportunity for aReceptionist  to be the first point of contact for all visitors and vendors on behalf of company staff.  The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate professional phone and customer service skills. 


     


     

    What you will accomplish

    Responsibilities:


    Be the first face of our company by greeting and assisting corporate or other visitors with their needs.  Perform general clerical duties associated with answering a multi-line phone system. Perform other clerical, administrative and project responsibilities including:


     



    • Answering phones and receiving guests and deliveries.

    • Preparing outgoing mail and shipments.

    • Assist with production, copying, assembling reports and burning cd’s.

    • File maintenance such as filing, purging and storing.

    • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen/breakroom, production room and conference rooms.

    • Maintain supplies for kitchen, restroom and general office and production supplies.

    • Assist with event planning, catering, set up and cleanup of meetings and events.

    • Assist OSR with admin tasks such as filing, e-filing and coordinating safety training.

    • Company errands and deliveries.

    • Assist with Onboarding process, welcome packet and office space set up.

    • Maintaining office phone lists, birthday lists, etc.


     

    Experience and qualifications for success



    • Minimum of a High School diploma (or GED equivalent) required

    • Minimum of two years of reception and front desk experience required

    • Ability to answer a multi-line phone system; experience with ShoreTel phone system a plus

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point (preferably Version 2010) and other software applications such as Adobe Acrobat Professional and Indesign.

    • Superb phone, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to represent company in a professional manner

    • Ability to work independently, be proactive, solve problems, and take initiative.
