    SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Cultural Resource Specialist for our growing Broomfield, CO office.

    What you will accomplish

    • Oversee and/or perform all aspects of fieldwork, data collection, inventory, analyses, and report production.
    • Write proposals and/or reports and other technical documents, conduct Class I/file searches, site form preparation, literature review and historic or prehistoric research.

    Experience and qualifications for success

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or a closely related field is required
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with a range of field methodologies; including survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring required
    • An accredited Field School Certification required
    • Experience required to be listed with relevant archaeological permits within the [Project Region]
    • Experience with scheduling and budgeting of projects related to cultural resources preferred
    • Previous supervisory experience in supervising archaeological fieldwork preferred
    • Ability to be listed on state and federal cultural resource permits is a plus
    • Ability to travel to a location, walk and conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather, rugged terrain, often  at high altitudes, and ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds is required
