  • About the opportunity

    SWCA has an opportunity for a Cultural Resources Specialist.  Your role will be to assist with upcoming projects by providing report writing. You will be helping to write site descriptions, Laboratory of Anthropology forms, and working with ARMS. The work schedule is flexible, up to 40 hours a week. Work will be in our Albuquerque office, but would consider some portion of work completed remotely.

    What you will accomplish

    Assist with report production and archaeological site reporting. Write technical documents, site form preparation, literature review and historic or prehistoric research.

    Experience and qualifications for success

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or a closely related field is required
    • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with a range of field methodologies; primarily survey and report preparation
    • An accredited Field School Certification preferred
    • Proficient in completing New Mexico site forms and a good command of English
