SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Project Controls Specialist for our Houston, TX office who will report to the Project Controls Manager. The Project Controls Specialist supports project managers and senior staff in project financial tracking, accounting, and record keeping. He or she communicates and coordinates with project managers, other project control specialists and coordinators, and senior staff to pro-actively anticipate project needs.
This is a full-time, hourly position and the candidate will typically work 40 hours per week, depending on workload. Some projects include overtime hours or prevailing wage rates Pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and experience.

The Project Controls Specialist supports project setup and review, including contract review and execution, sub-consultant contracting and management, resource allocation and multi-project scheduling, forecasting, budget tracking (i.e., labor and other expenses, account receivables and payables, overruns and change orders), progress reports, invoice review, subcontract and vendor invoice review, file organization and documentation management, and project closeout.
