  • About the opportunity

    SWCA Environmental Consultants is an employee-owned company of environmental professionals who specialize in natural and cultural resource management, environmental planning, and regulatory compliance.   We are seeking a reliable and skilled full-time Human Resources Coordinator with a high level of energy.  The HR Coordinator will take the initiative to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.  The ideal candidate will also be a supportive team member with strong interpersonal skills.  Our Human Resources department is focused on serving our internal customers and ensuring their success.

    What you will accomplish

    • Provides day-to-day support to all HR functional departments with a focus in Total Rewards, and/or Human Resources Administration
    • Provides technical support for the Learning Management System (LMS) in response to employee requests; Deploy required training and maintain Enterprise wide training records
    • Support the Onboarding process and provide internal and external customer support
    • Position may at times require coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and events
    • Assemble and format various reports and create complex spreadsheets
    • Maintain accurate and organized documentation
    • Work closely with all levels of staff to promote the OneSWCA team
    • Provides a variety of diversified administrative support to the department to enhance its efficient and effective operation.
    • Performs ad-hoc job related duties as requested

    Experience and qualifications for success

    • High School diploma (or GED equivalent) required
    • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in business, human resources, office technology, or a related field is preferred
    • Experience within an HR function required
    • Demonstrated experience using independent decision-making and strong business judgement
    • Experience working with HRIS, ATS and/or LMS systems required
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with other software applications such as Adobe Acrobat preferred
    • Experience with SharePoint, Deltek Vision or other CRM software preferred
    • As a member of the HR team, discretion and confidentiality are required at all times.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette,
    • Ability to prioritize and multi task with a strong attention to detail and accuracy is critical
    • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a diverse team
