  • About the opportunity

    SWCA Environmental Consultants is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources department in Phoenix, AZ. The person in this position will focus primarily on administrative and recruitment support for the Talent Acquisition team but will need to be flexible in their ability to assist the overall HR group when needed. Someone who is adaptable, a creative problem solver, and able to anticipate their internal and external customers’ needs, will do well in this role.

    What you will accomplish

    • Daily execution of various administrative responsibilities, to include management of the Recruiting inbox, oversight and administration of the background check process, preparation and distribution of internal opportunity communications, and correspondence with internal customers, such as team members and hiring managers, and external customers, such as candidates and vendors
    • Manage assigned job requisitions by reviewing applications, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting phone interviews, partnering with hiring managers to provide feedback and guidance, as well as preparing and extending offers
    • High-volume interview scheduling in support of the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partners
    • Developing, editing, and processing new job requisitions for approval. Posting approved jobs to the appropriate career sites
    • Initiating and overseeing the electronic onboarding process
    • Data analysis for the development of monthly, quarterly, and yearly recruiting metric reports
    • Assist in the maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Maintaining the Employee Referral Program
    • Provide administrative support to our HR team as needed, which can include report generation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS)

    Experience and qualifications for success

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, business administration, communications or related field is preferred. Applicants with equivalent professional experience will be considered
    • Functional knowledge of either an HRIS or ATS
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
    • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and demonstrate accountability
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, up to and including senior management and executive leadership
    • Ability discern and act in the best interest of SWCA and our employees, in support of our OneSWCA ethos
    • Must maintain confidentiality at all levels and take action to protect Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
