Our Northern California offices are seeking on-call Archaeological Field Technicians for work on a Federal project (Project) in the Sacramento, California area. The Project schedule will include 80 hours of pedestrian survey, followed by 6-8 weeks of monitoring (40hrs/week). Sacramento-area residents are preferred. 40-hr HAZWOPER certification is required for this particular Project.
Our Southern California offices are also seeking on-call Archaeological Field Technicians for a variety of Projects throughout California. Project specific schedules and activities will vary, but typically include performance of pedestrian survey, controlled excavation, and/or monitoring (ranging between 20-40hrs/week). 40-hr HAZWOPER certification is preferred for all projects.
Part-time on-call employment may be extended beyond these Projecs. When project travel is required, per diem, hotel room accommodations, and field vehicles are provided.
Conduct archaeological fieldwork including survey and monitoring. Assist with mapping responsibilities in the field, including collection of GPS data using Trimble units. Working closely within a Team environment, including subcontractors.
