SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding their team and looking for dynamic individuals who are following their passion in delivering the highest-quality project work.   SWCA is expanding our natural resources team and seeking two or more on-call Project Biologists to support a variety of environmental projects involving a range of field and office duties. Work hours may vary seasonally, and depending on project needs and your skills. On-call staff are requested for work as it becomes available and are free to accept or refuse the work based on their schedule. As our Natural Resources team continues to grow, additional opportunities for advancement and/or transition to a regular, full-time position will be available.    Travel, including overnight stays, will be required for this position. Fieldwork will primarily be located on the San Francisco Peninsula, yet work will include travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Coast, Central Valley, Northern California, and the western United States. Preference will be given for candidates that are able to meet the immediate need of approximately one-month of biological survey support for a large project located in the Rocky Mountain Region. SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Senior Wetland Scientist with experience in permitting, natural resource management, biological studies, and mentoring for our southern California Natural Resources Program.   The ideal candidate will be interested in developing a long-term consulting career that combines high-level technical expertise with commercial acumen and leadership. Responsibilities may include leading a wetland and waters team, leading delineation fieldwork, preparing jurisdictional delineation reports, preparing wetland/waters permits, leading natural resource technical assessment efforts, reviewing technical reports and wetland/waters permit applications, consulting with regulatory agencies, and project management.   The Senior Wetland Scientist has the option to participate in SWCA’s Scientific Leadership Program, which allows top subject experts to be recognized and rewarded for distinguished productivity and intellectual acumen, to make regular contributions to corporate strategies, and provide input to all levels of the company.   Our Natural Resources program works on diverse natural resources related projects across many business lines, including renewable energies, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, habitat restoration, and mitigation banking. SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding their team of qualified cultural resources technicians based in Denver (Broomfield) or Fort Collins, Colorado. We are looking for field-ready individuals to be key players on primarily survey and testing projects.This position is a temporary, on-call, hourly position. With our network of offices across the US, we have the ability to move our field staff rapidly to meet these needs. Initial fieldwork will be in support of our other offices across the country through the winter and early spring, after which work will transition in support of our Rocky Mountain/Plains projects in the summer (primarily Colorado and Wyoming).   Our Denver and Fort Collins offices specialize in cultural and natural resources services within a relaxed work environment.
