As a Cultural Resources Crew Lead, you will be an integral member of our collaborative team who will assist the Field Director and Project Team in completing archaeological pedestrian surveys, construction monitoring, and other field or office tasks in support of a variety of renewable energy, oil and gas, energy transmission, transportation, and land development projects. You will also assist with GPS data collection using tablet units and Geodes, coordinate with contractors in the field, and communicate with the team through daily reporting of field activities.   This is an temporary, hourly position. Anticipated fieldwork will occur throughout southern California, as well as central and northern California and Nevada, including within active U.S. military facilities. The candidate may be asked to submit to background screening in order to work on these facilities. Candidates local to southern California are strongly preferred.   Some projects include overtime hours or prevailing wage rates. Project-related travel and lodging costs are covered, and per diem is provided for project work requiring overnight stays. A technical (i.e., cell phone) allowance is offered, and temporary employees are eligible for paid wellness time (i.e., sick leave), as applicable.Compensation starts at $26.00/hr, but can be negotiated based on individual experience and qualifications.

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, self-motivated Senior Project Manager - Permitting with strong interpersonal skills and experience in project permitting and project management.  This individual will successfully drive our projects throughout all phases from early planning and permitting through construction. This position is available for remote work but will be associated with our Portland, OR office. Opportunities will be available to work with other offices in the region and across the country.   This Senior Project Manager - Permitting will have technical expertise in permitting, NEPA, facility siting and constraints studies, and agency interactions at all levels. Experience working with the Bureau of Land Management and in industries including electric utilities and renewable energy is highly valued. Skills include the ability to manage large and complex projects and milestones within schedule and budget, and primarily be responsible for QA/QC oversight.  The Senior Project Manager will be experienced in managing multiple components and multidisciplinary staff to complete project permitting requirements.    This is a regular, full-time, salaried position.  Pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
